Other January Finishes

I really feel like I have had a very productive January, feels good.  So this month I also completed two customer projects.  The first one was a pair of curtains for the lady that I made the memory quilts for last year.   Not a quilt but I need to pay off my long arm machine so I don't shy away from paying gigs. :) Plus curtains don't really take that much time.  The panels are about 44"x61".

I lined them with fleece from Joann's to keep the cold Michigan winters out.  Fleece is not the easiest to work with as it has to much stretchy but I managed and my customer loved them so it is a win win.

I made this table runner for my mom for a bridal shower gift.  My mom bought most of the fabric and I just complimented it with some Kona Chocolate and a fat quarter of dot fabric for the binding.  This measures about 17" x 45".  I just picked a simple log cabin block as I only had a few days to whip it up and used the rest of the strips from the log cabin to create the back.

Thank you for stopping by and visiting.
