Resonance Quilt Pattern

Finally I can share with you all a quilt that I tested the pattern for Aria Lane back in March this one is called Resonance and is designed by Tara Knight.  I made the twin size from the pattern, that is 71 drunken path blocks.  I used Kona Rich Red and three prints from Tim Holtz line at Joann Fabric; which is a mix of subway signs and passport documentation.

For the back I used Kona Charcoal and Rich Red.

I am still thinking about how I am going to quilt this one.

This quilt was very easy to put together once you cut out all the pieces.  Chain stitching really speeds the process up on the drunken path assembly.

Before I start a pattern I always make a test block here is the one for this pattern:

I really love it and think I might have to make a quilt with these fabrics.  For now it hangs on the design wall waiting to be added to.

Thank you for stopping by and visiting.

Cheers,
Abby

  1. Love the quilt - can't wait to see how you quilt it! How big is it?
