High Tea Quilt Top

A couple weeks ago Adianne @On the Windy Side put out a call for pattern testers for her pattern she is calling High Tea.  I love testing for others, mostly because it forces me to follow a pattern.  Some times that is easier said then done.  Plus I needed another distraction instead of doing things I am suppose to be doing for the move.  Quilting is so much more fun then moving.

Here is my bed size version of High Tea.

This quilt pattern is very easy to put together and is very pre-cut friendly.  I used a layer cake by BasicGrey called Persimmon.  It has a lovely tiny bird print that I think I will have to pick a yard up for my stash.   For the sashing I used some purple Moda Grunge and a grey dot print but it is hard to make out in the picture.

Adianne released the pattern yesterday on CraftsyEtsy plus she shared on her blog all the wonderful tester quilts.

Thank you for stopping by and visiting.

  1. I saw this on her site and LOVED that you used a layer cake. I was thinking maybe I could cut up my Ghastlies (finally) for this pattern. NICE JOB!
