Watson Star Quilt - Complete

Wow this quilt has taken me forever to blog about.  I finally got it washed and ironed since it sat folded on the stair railing for weeks.  It has turned out really good considering I had such a long break. I originally blogged about this quilt here. This is also one of my goals for quarter two

I might of went over board with the quilting again but I love how it came out.

I have also started a few new projects.  They are still works in progress but I wanted to share with you what I have been up to lately.  I am working on a small wall quilt that will have a Sulphur Crested Cockatoo on it. Sort of like my mug rug I made for the swap back in March just bigger.

I also started a special gift that I can't really share much since the special someone reads my blog but here is a sneak peek.

I am also in charge of the community quilt for the month of May for the Brisbane Modern Quilt Guild.  We are making Wonky Star blocks.  I made couple to show off and a few that are showing up on the guild Facebook page are fantastic.  I can't wait to get them all back next month.  I designed the quilt with four different size blocks so there will be a lot of variety.

I whipped up a small wide mouth pouch for my oldest son to gift to one of his classmates.  He got invited to his first boy / girl party.  I made it in her favourite colours and added her name to the front.  It turned out so cute.

Thank you for stopping by and visiting.

Cheers,
Abby
